The Adjuster School is a Certified continuing education provider for the Texas Department of Insurance, Provider # 33399 Certified Course #90535.  The All-Lines Licensing course covers all of the important concepts of claim handling, which includes the specific laws and regulations provided by the Texas Department of Insurance. Students are certified for state licensing upon successful completion of the final exam, which is given at the conclusion of the online course. This means that the course includes the state approved exam. Students will not be required to take any further exams after passing the final exam.

This course is only exam prep and does not include the real exam. To take the New York Independent General Adjuster 17-70 exam, students will need to register and schedule their exams through PSI. Currently, PSI charges $33.00 for the New York exam. PSI has testing centers for the New York exam. Students have up to two hours to complete the exam. A passing score for the New York exam is a 70. Upon passing the New York exam, students will need to submit an application to the New York Department of Financial Services. The basic requirements to obtain your New York license includes, but is not limited to: 1. Must be at least 18 year old. 2. Never have committed a felony or any crime involving fraudulent or dishonest practices. 3. Be trustworthy and competent.
